This house has been the perfect place for us to spend our honeymoon.  We have absolutely loved it and are sad to leave...  I actually want to live here!  We have loved everything about the house, especially all of the beautiful art work.  The house has been done beautifully and we would definitely come to stay again.  Very sad to leave but happy to have stayed and will be booking again very soon!!

Our honeymoon.  We have really enjoyed our time in the Round House - perfect cottage!!  Have managed to visit somewhere new each day.  Henry especially enjoyed the beaches.  Have made very happy memories and will definitely return.

Our first visit to this charming, well appointed cottage.  We shall certainly be seeking an early return!  Despite indifferent weather we managed  a decent walk amongst stunning scenery every day.  Numerous quality pubs/restaurants in the area.  At the New Inn in Veryan you get good food at a good price and we would thoroughly recommend a walk beside the Helford Passage followed by a lengthy lunch at The Ferryboat Inn.  The walk along the coastline by St Anthony Head is another standout.  All in all a week to remember.

Second visit, everything as before, comfortable.  Everything you could need - weather not so good but put our waterproofs on and still went for walks!  Watched some DVDs.  Thank you for the welcome pack and and wine.  Thank you for letting us bring our dog.

Once again we've loved our stay here - after our third stay at Round House East it's really feeling like home from home!  Thank you for the welcome box along with the milk and bubbly in the fridge - it's good to know that there is milk here ready for a much needed cuppa after a long journey!  We loved the little changes in the house and the garden looks lovely!!  Alison and Lyn are doing a lovely job with it!  We're both very much looking forward to returning once again next year.

Great to be back in this relaxing and peaceful village - the perfect antidote to city life!  We have enjoyed our stay in this wonderful cottage, as always.  Despite mixed weather, we have enjoyed our days out and walks in the area, as well as a tasty meal at the New Inn.  Looking forward to our return next year!

A really enjoyable week.  This was our first visit to the area and we will certainly return.  Real home from home - a lovely cottage.  Beautiful garden, excellent facilities and very comfortable.  Thank you for everything - the bottle of Cava was a nice treat!

We have had a lovely week, the cottage was a delight.  We found Veryan a fantastic base for our walks.  It was so peaceful which was just what we needed.  The New Inn was a great place to go for an evening with wonderful food and very welcoming.  Thank you so much for the goody box and all the touches that made it feel so homely.

A beautiful cottage.  Everything has been thought of to make anyone's stay perfectly comfortable.  The weather was absolutely wonderful and sunny.  We loved it so much we have already booked again!  The gardeners came and were lovely too!

We have had a wonderful week here in this really beautiful, well kept cottage.  We've really felt at home, everything has been thought of to make our stay comfortable.  Thank you very much for the welcome pack and the flowers were a really thoughtful gesture.  We've all had a wonderful time and visited lots of places.  One week is not enough and we will definitely have to return one day.  We will highly recommend Round House East to friends and family.  Thanks again for letting us share your lovely home.

What a wonderful cottage, everything to make our stay at the cottage had been thought of, from the fantastic king sized bed down to the bottle of bubbly in the fridge on arrival.  This is the best cottage to date that we have stayed in, and as for the dogs it had thought of everything.  Marks eleven out of ten.

Unusual, quirky cottage, definitely worth a visit. W.I. rural market at Veryan community hall (Fridays 10.00 to 12.00), also definitely worth a visit, not only for the homebakes but for the experience! May 2011.

It has been 20 years since we have been to Cornwall and we have thoroughly enjoyed our return. Thank you Ian for the "Welcome Pack". WI Country Market 10.30 to 11.30 at Veryan Hall on a Friday worth a visit for home bakes. Lost Gardens of Heligan, Trelissick, Shipwreck and Heritage Centre Charlestown and Polperro all worth a visit.

We have had a fantastic time in Cornwall. It is our first time in this lovely part of the country and it certainly will not be long before we return! From the first moment we walked in we have relaxed - just what we needed! It just has everything you need. Thank you for all the extras such as the welcome box and bubbly. We have been very welcome by all the locals (mainly in the pub), which has been great. We are sad to leave but will be back - hopefully next year!! Not a quick journey - 420 miles - but well worth it!!

Fantastic place to spend our honeymoon! Friends and family are already queuing to book the cottage to enjoy the delights of Cornwall. We slept like logs every night which I attribute to the Cornish air and the comfortable bed! We had everything we needed and the cottage was an ideal place to get to everything we wanted to see. This cottage has given us so much pleasure we wish we didn't have to leave! We had amazing weather and hope to return soon.

This cottage is excellent. The owner has provided everything one could possibly want. The kitchen is superb and the bathroom roomy and clean. The garden was a lovely place to sit on returning from our days out, returning back each day was a joy. Veryan is a very quiet village but there is a pub that provides excellent meals but with the kitchen that was available in the cottage we ate in every night. The bedroom was extremely comfy and the cottage itself was unique. From the outside it actually looked quite small but when you entered it was like a tardis! There was a TV downstairs and one in the bedroom and a superb radio in the kitchen. We took DVD’s with us but the owner has a huge selection to choose from along with many varied books. We recommend this to cottage to everyone. When we return to this part of Cornwall we would definitely return here. Thank you Mr Rose for an excellent week’s holiday and for providing a superb cottage to stay in.

A superb cottage to stay in. This cottage has everything and more one could want when away from home, so much so that when you return after being out for the day, it is a pleasure to come home to. The garden is a quiet location to sit in and the lounge a pleasure to relax in.

Thank you for putting so much style and energy into making this such a fabulous place to stay. We enjoyed the gorgeous scenery, dramatic starry nights and glorious weather (though I kept hoping it would rain so that I could spend more time in the house, it's so chic, cosy and there is so much to read/watch/listen to). We quite want to live here now :)
