Welcome to Round House East – Completely Cornwall |
|

Set in the beautiful village of Veryan on Cornwall’s dramatic Roseland Peninsula, Round House East is one of four round thatched houses built in 1820 by the Reverend Trist. They are said to have been built in the round so that the Devil could not hide, and the crosses on top were intended to keep the devil away.
Today, Round House East is a charming one-bedroom, dog friendly cottage, offered by the owners for self-catering breaks. The house is the perfect retreat for a quiet, romantic holiday, with beaches, coves and restaurants close at hand, or as a base for more lively recreation, exploring the coastal path and discovering the houses, gardens and galleries in this most beautiful part of England.
Round House East lies close to the beaches, the coastal path and the dramatic Roseland coastline. Veryan has its own local pub, village shop and Post Office©, and highlights such as Truro (via the King Harry ferry), St. Mawes, The Lost Gardens of Heligan and the Eden Project are all within an easy drive.
