The village of Veryan is on the Roseland, close to St. Mawes and within easy reach of Truro, via the King Harry Ferry, which has been voted one of the most scenic ferry trips in the world. Veryan has its own local pub, village shop and Post Office©, and a weekly W.I. market.

Veryan is within walking distance of the South West Coastal Path and the beaches at Carne and Pendower.  It is close to the Lost Gardens of Heligan, numerous National Trust gardens and properties, such as Trelissick Gardens, and Mevagissey and Fowey.

Veryan is also the perfect base from which to reach the rest of Cornwall, such as Falmouth, for the National Maritime Museum, St.Ives for the Tate, and Newquay and Padstow for Jamie Oliver’s “Fifteen” and Rick Stein’s Seafood Restaurant.
